2末敏弹药通常由一些子弹药组成。子弹药被抛撒后，立即用其自身携带的探测器开始在小范围内探测目标，发现目标后，即可沿探测器瞄准的方向发射弹丸，对目标进行攻击，既有较大的毁伤面积，又有较高的命中精度。
